WHY IT MATTERS
LESS CLOGGING, LESS OVERFLOW, MORE PROTECTION — ESPECIALLY IN THE PNW.
Why Gutter Guards Save You Money
In the Pacific Northwest, gutters can fill up quickly due to constant debris and seasonal buildup. Guards reduce the mess inside the gutter and help prevent recurring overflow.
What clogged or overflowing gutters can lead to:
- Overflow and water damage to fascia and siding
- Leaks at seams and corners
- Gutters sagging or separating from the house
- Downspouts backing up and flooding near the foundation
- Ice buildup in colder months (when drainage is restricted)
INSPECTION + INSTALL
More Than Installation — We Inspect and Make Sure It Works
We don’t just attach guards and leave. We inspect for common gutter problems that affect performance and correct minor issues when possible.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
- Guard installation (based on selected guard type)
- Light prep to ensure proper fit (remove debris where needed)
- Securing and aligning guard sections for consistent drainage
- Inspection for visible gutter issues (damage, separation, loose sections)
- Minor fixes when possible (quick re-secure / small seal points)
- Photo documentation if needed
How pricing works
Gutter guard installation is priced per linear foot, and the final quote depends on the home’s access and roofline details. We’ll provide a clear range first, then confirm the exact quote after photos or a quick on-site look.
Typical labor pricing (installation only)
If materials are customer-supplied (or selected from our recommended options), typical labor ranges are:
Option A: Clip-in / snap-in guards (budget-friendly)
Instructions
Typically $5–$7 per ft (labor)
Best for simpler rooflines and easier access. Amazon link
Option B: Screw-in micro-mesh (most secure / best performance)
Instructions
Typically $8–$10 per ft (labor)
Most common choice for long-term performance, especially in heavier debris areas. Amazon link
Complex installs / difficult access
Instructions
Typically $11–$15+ per ft (labor)
Applies when the roofline is steep, the home is 2–3 stories, there are many corners/sections, trees limit ladder placement, or access requires extra safety setup. Amazon link
What affects the final price
- Linear footage (total gutter length)
- Stories / height (1–3 story)
- Roof pitch / steep areas (steeper rooflines require more safety and slower work)
- Roofline complexity (multiple sections, corners, valleys)
- Access (trees, landscaping, tight setbacks, limited ladder placement)
- Existing gutter condition (sagging, loose sections, improper slope)
If gutters are clogged or dirty
For guards to work correctly, gutters must be clean and able to drain properly.
If gutters are heavily clogged, we may need to clean and flush the gutters and downspouts first before installing guards. This prep work is added to the final quote.
